I am an Associate Professor at the Institute of Public Health, Jagiellonian University Medical College. Since 2007, I have been conducting research at the Mogielica Human Ecology Study Site in southern Poland, in collaboration with prof. Grazyna Jasienska. I am a member of the Human Reproductive and Evolutionary Ecology Group and the Salus Publica Foundation for Public Health. I serve on the Executive Council of the European DOHaD Society, where I coordinate initiatives dedicated to early career researchers. Additionally, I am a guest researcher at the University of Turku in Finland, working with the FinnBrain Research Group.
My main interests concentrate on the area of Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD), biological aging, early-life adversities, and their relationship with female reproductive health.
